I think it is more likely that he is/was/might be the frontrunner and they started looking into his remarkable life and found that some of the things from way back seem a bit fudged. Color is irrelevant.
Color is always relevant in deciding which cards can be played by the media to distort the truth.
Yea, maybe in that sense I agree. You could be green with plaid or pink with poke-a-dots and if you don’t embrace their “god” they will go after you. And yes, it’s also about money and ratings and all that but there IS an ideology that drives them - just like their savior Obama. But if they can use color... they will. No options are off the table with the left. In this particular case, color was probably not a factor.
