NY is still upset that Mobil moved their HQ from midtown Manhattan to Virginia (before the Exxon buyout).

And the Mobil building is still today at a high vacancy rate.

Exxon Mobil did not donate to the Clinton Foundation.

Hillary had the feds after them (that story is on FR)

Now the Fair & Balanced media goes after them.

New York needs to die a painful economic death.

NYT changes their headline to:
Exxon Mobil Investigated in New York Over Possible Lies on Climate
The NYT never gets investigated over its possible (never mind probable and certain) lies, though.

“Exxon better push back hard.”

Push back hard? I thought that under the “Crony Capitalism” system, they must merely comply and pay. Isn’t that how it works now?

In case you were not aware, ExxonMobil has since moved its headquarters from Virginia to Texas. I think Exxon is doing a lease/sale deal with the new occupant.

That is a prime location. The Virginia campus must be worth a fortune.

The fraudulent loophole the NY prosecutors are using is the requirement that public companies disclose all potential factors real or potential to investors.

These sleazy prosecutors attack Exxon because Exxon has a whole floor of lawyers just like the prosecutors do. This is in effect a jobs program for NY government attorneys and it has a progressive ring to it, hence why they are doing it.

Exxon’s lawyers should have no problem for building a defense and motioning that the case be dismissed on numerous grounds. But NY government courts are infested with people that relish the controversial. So we can assume the court will have fun with being in the news.

If the court doesn’t dismiss, Exxon may win on appeal.

So this is how it’s gonna go.

Hmmm...this company has an awful lot of money. Money means power. They probably won’t go down easy. I’ll take Exxon Mobil over the government.
