This is absolutely NOT correct--Emminent Domain as Trump explains it, BUYS the property that is needed from the owner, oftentimes paying the owner much more than fair market value. This is a far cry from communists TAKING AWAY private property, as they did from my grandparents in the Soviet Union.

I'm not even a Trump supporter, but I will be happy to defend the "government taking away private property away (sic) from private property owners".
The 5th amendment empowers the government to take private property for public use, while guaranteeing just compensation to the person whose property is taken.
