Trump may be funny but the effect he (and others) had on my already unstable ex daughter-in-law is not. My son had to have back surgery and for that she called him a lazy loser because he had to recover for a few weeks and kicked him out of the house. If my granddaughter loses a soccer game she tells her she is a loser. She attributes her drive to God and says the only important thing is being a millionaire. Funny thing, she told my son that the reason he had back problems and subsequently broke his foot and had plates put in it is that God was punishing him for being a loser, and the next morning she fell down the stairs and broke her foot.
So I don’t really like to hear somebody always calling everybody a loser.

I’m a native New Yorker. Trump talks like the Adults I knew when I was a Kid, including some Family Members. Maybe I’m jaded, but I just laugh when People are offended by what he says. He sounds like a typical New Yorker to me.
Turn on the TV and you will see much worse than anything Trump says or does.
That being said, I hope your Son recovers from his Injuries, both Physical and Emotional. We have two close Relatives dealing with their Spouse’s Ex Whatever’s and both have Step Children, so I am very familiar with Crazy.

I like Trump distinguishing between winning and losing. We’ve had too many years of every kid getting a trophy whether they play well or not. It’s made girly-men out of our boys.

Trump is being Trump. Your ex DIL is abusive to her family. No connection.
Your DIL is a whack job, and was prior to Trump, no doubt. She needs to seek professional help.
