We will not lay off the Open Primary issue. We are guaranteed a Republican form of Government. If the GOP is going to represent us as a party then we want what we are supposed to have; not democrats in heavy vote fraud states (Which the GOP agreed in settlement to not investigate) picking our candidates for us.
OK, I should have said lay off the GOPe on this issue. NY has closed primaries for both parties because the NY legislature so decreed. Other states have open primaries, and still others have caucuses, because that was the choice of their legislatures. The RNC didn't make those rules.
Delegate allocation, by contrast, which is the subject of the linked article, is entirely up to the party.
