Wow, that's a catch!

As a side note, how does he shoot them?

I know a land owner in N.W. Kansas who uses greyhounds and hybrids to chase them down............

He is trapping them.

I came across a snare last year with a coyote caught in it... what a beautiful animal... I was mostly pissed though because the guy had trespassed on railroad property to set the snare which was all of 5 feet off the tracks. The game warden said it was a police matter because the trapper was trespassing... the police said it was an game commission matter because there was a live animal in the snare. All I know is I was standing right there next to it asking for a pair of wire cutters... It was yipping and barking just like a dog jumping about. The guy I was with all the sudden “didn’t have wire cutters”, so the animal was left there all night... the game warden called the next day, said he found the coyote in the morning, calmed down and just resigned to his fate. He put the animal down with a gun, and cleared the trap, and called the trapper to let him know his trap was on railroad property and he needs to remove it.

I was pissed that the animal was left there overnight... it’s front paw in a wire snare... and the next morning it was just dispatched. Beautiful animal... but at least he ain’t eating my kittehs for a nice little snack.
