LOUISVILLE (AP) - Here is a look at Kentucky's top races in Tuesday's general election, from the contest for governor at the top of the ticket to down-ballot races for statewide offices:
GOVERNOR
Democrat Jack Conway and Republican Matt Bevin square off in the race to become Kentucky's next governor in a pivotal off-year election. The winner succeeds Democratic Gov. Steve Beshear, who could not seek re-election because of term limits. The campaign turned into a referendum on President Barack Obama's signature health care law. Outgoing Gov. Steve Beshear used an executive order to expand the state's Medicaid program to cover an additional 400,000 Kentucky residents and create a health exchange, where more than 100,000 people have purchased discounted health plans with the help of federal subsidies. Bevin, a Louisville businessman, has promised to scale back the expansion and eliminate the exchange, saying taxpayers can't afford it. Conway, the state's two-term attorney general, has called Bevin's plan "callous" and said he would keep both programs. Independent candidate Drew Curtis was also on the ballot for governor.

And just as I post, the AP calls it.
Did McC endorse Bevin? I though I read that he had.
Courier calls it for Bevin!
What about Paducah? How does it usually go? And how many votes are there?
I predict at least 10% by 100%
Not sure if it has been publicly reported or not, but I have helped run some Congressional campaigns in the past and know many of the players.
I personally know two of Mitch’s guys who have been working with the Conway team.
“Courier calls it for Bevin!”
Fantastic!
Thank you, Kentucky, and thank you Theophilus and comebacknewt for keeping us posted on the vote counts. Excellent job.
We’re closing in on all races! Republicans may sweep all state offices!
A ringing endorsement...

Hip hip hooray!
Zero’s Bitch Mitch has got to be weeping over this tonight. With a Gov. Bevin, he has no excuse not to follow Boehner’s lead and resign come January. Had Conway won, he would’ve claimed he had to stay or a Democrat would be appointed in his place. Time for this asshat RINO buffoon to GO !
The question isn’t whether there are Post Turtle guy’s working for Conway.
It’s whether the state GOP, which is controlled by Post Turtle, activated it’s GOTV apparatus.
THE NATIONAL DEBT JUMPED 370 BILLION IN I DAMNED DAY!! THESE BASTARDS11
if bevin lost, there would have been a line forming of ky dems waiting to take on rand paul next year. tonight showed how sharply gop ky turned, like west va and ar.
A big portion of Bevins win should be attributed to Conservative backlash over Kim Davis.
