This woman looks so stupid. Now that she has set Baltimore back 30 years, she will not seek re-election for fear she may have to clean up her huge mess.
Her only solution is to get an influx of immigrants to get all that welfare money.
She currently serves as secretary of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and president of the U.S. Conference of Mayors. U.S. Sen. Barbara Mikulski (D-MD) announced in 2015 that she would retire at the end of her term in 2017. The speculation earlier in 2015 was that Rawlings-Blake would run for Mikulski's seat.
Originally elected for a term of only two years under the original first City Charter, now traditionally, the Baltimore City Charter limits a mayoral term to four years since the revisions of 1920 (who can be reelected without term limits). However, the 2015 election will be postponed to 2016 in order to better align with national elections.
So, who knows where Blake-Rawlings next stop will be.
