The point is that, when you search for articles about Carson that don’t refer to his poll numbers those are what you get. He simply does not have positive coverage needed to result in a NATIONAL poll bounce.
I say this as someone who’d happily vote for him.
It is certainly a valid and distressing question whether a vocal Christian can get elected to high office in 21st century America. Even on this site, there are a number of posters who use Carson’s religious views as evidence of disqualification. Just sad to see, that’s all.
