This is apocryphal. Trump made a generous offer and the woman rejected it. She was not forced to sell. The idea that he took the house without compensation is psychotic.
Who said he never gave her compensation? You are putting words into my mouth. If she wanted to sell he wouldn’t have had to take her to court. This wasn’t a usual real estate deal.
