It probably wasn’t the best idea. I don’t think it worked but probably backfired. It makes it look more like an attack on the other candidate’s charitable tendencies.

I know you don’t CARE!!!!! You are so emotionally overwrought and attached to your candidate that it has BLINDED you to everything else. It makes you attack people personally and sound more like a CULT member than a person who is using logic and reason!!!!!!!!!

When you start talking like this:

TRUMP is the ONLY ONE who can SAVE us!!!!! Go TRUMP!!!

You need to calm down and regroup. You are doing your candidate no good.

As I said, this type of thing is ridiculous. I didn’t say I thought YOU were ridiculous. I’m trying to be kind here.

You could say after all the things we Trump supporters on here have endured since June, yeah we get a little over heated...

I know why I want Trump as President, and when riduculos remarks are made, I get right back with them...

I am a 100% Trump supporter....because of WHAT he wants to do to help America become what it was and better....after Reagan this country is in the toilet...and most of that is obuma’s fault and our fault also for re electing these idiots in the House and Senate....

But there is going to come a time when we aren’t going to be so lucky to save this Great Country, and then what? So if you think your candidate can do better, great I he/she can, but don’t degrade me because I think Trump is the guy that CAN and WILL do it...and this started out as a Trump thread....

Because of the media’s poll #s, candidates should be excluded and run out on a rail, before a single opinion is heard or vote cast, because....popularity?

What is this, high school??

If debates, to get ideas/thoughts across to the voting masses is the point, are the point then they should be held over multiple night, with a random sampling of the field. You make #1 vs. #9 vs. #5 vs. #20 and TALK; not these 30-sec non-detailed bloviations that convey NOTHING.

If #X has better ideas/plans than #1, *I’d* want to hear it.

I’ve seen a lot of enthusiasm on Cruz threads lately. One poster said Cruz had stepped out of the phonebooth to reveal the real Cruz/superhero. Why is it okay for Cruz supporters to be enthusiastic but not Trump supporters?

It probably made some people angry just like some of those stupid questions that the debate moderators ask. I wouldn’t be proud of it if I were you.

If some people are overly sensitive or overly defensive, that is their issue.

I’m not the one that made this about Cruz. You Trump supporters did that.

I wasn’t aware that good deeds were an issue in this campaign. But if we are going to go there I’m sure that old lady that lost her home because Donald Trump wanted her land didn’t feel that he was very charitable. And at least in that case I would say that Trump’s beliefs about eminent domain and private property rights are pretty relevant.

If you are going to compare candidates in their good deeds then I suppose their not-so-good deeds are up for grabs as well.

You don’t understand what I meant. It has nothing to do with people being oversensitive. Most people on FR aren’t the timid type and they can take care of themselves. I was referring more to the fact that you can open a whole can of worms when you do stuff like that. You will be asking for supporters of other candidates to defend their guy and criticize yours.

For example; some say that Trump wasn’t being so brave hopping out of a car to save someone when he has armed security with him to back him up. And as I brought up, he wasn’t so charitable to the woman who lost her home because he wanted to buy her land to make a parking lot out of it for his casino.

Every candidate is only human and they have their strengths and weaknesses. When you present a candidate as some kind of super hero who is the only one who can save us you are almost asking for it IMO.

She didn’t want to sell. She was forced to. He didn’t give her anything.

Why would you assume I hadn’t looked it up? I have been well aware of this for some time.

As I noted in my prior post, it is Cruz, of late, who’s been presented as a superhero. Noting that Trump has gone out of his way to be kind, in a discussion re Malignant Narcissistic Personality Disorder, is perfectly apt.

As to the woman with the house, Trump made her a generous offer and she turned him down. End of story.

‘She didn’t want to sell. She was forced to. He didn’t give her anything.’

This is apocryphal. Trump made a generous offer and the woman rejected it. She was not forced to sell. The idea that he took the house without compensation is psychotic.

“Noting that Trump has gone out of his way to be kind, in a discussion re Malignant Narcissistic Personality Disorder, is perfectly apt.”

Yes, I said I understood that part. What I didn’t understand, until now, was why Ted Cruz was dragged into it. I haven’t noticed Ted Cruz being presented as some kind of super hero here but I don’t read every thread so I’ll take your word for that. But it does reveal to me that is the reason behind your dragging him into this. It must bother you that Cruz got the spotlight and some credit the other night in the debates.

Interesting that some Trump supporters seem to think it okay to force someone through the courts to have to sell their home so some rich guy can build a parking lot. Is this a Trump selling point? But hey, he gave her some money for it. I guess that makes it okay.
