My brother in law was a manager at Forcia and he said they were CONSTANTLY having problems with assembly line guys who were high. He said they routinely failed the drug screens.

Do you think whatever the rate of drug abuse for Americans is - it is going to change for immigrants? Somehow, magically, immigrants are going to be more resistant to temptation than Americans are? How does that work? Has the gov't gotten into the character business and now is able to figure out who has good character and who doesn't?

And by the way, people who apply for green cards or to become citizens don't get tested for drugs.

I don’t know and I don’t care. I’m just stating a fact, that Jordan is right. MANY blue collar workers cannot pass the drug tests. That’s a separate issue from immigration, but is absolutely true.
