Given the marathon games, I think it was closer. It just seems that the Royals were great at closing the game. They were down mid-way most of the time.

It just seems that the Royals were great at closing the game. They were down mid-way most of the time. The Royals came from behind in seven of their eleven playoff wins. In the series they scored 15 runs in the 8th inning or later to the Mets single run in game one. That's what championship teams do.
