Me, too. It isn’t an irrational cowardice if a public figure with a wife and kids backs away from saying things that could them killed. It sucks, but fear of offending is making cowards of us all.
That’s why I went to that Mohammed cartoon contest, and would go again. Of course I knew they would have a lot of seurity and I was just an attendee, not publicly known. I was interviewed by the TV station and she asked me if I was scared, and seemed surprised when I said No, that in this country we should be able to draw whatever we want without threats of violence.
