My nine year old went off with a few of his friends. I think one of their parents was with them. My wife and I took the four year olds and the two year old. They where minions.

We had a few Minions last night, but superheros and Frozen Princesses ruled the night.

How cute! I enjoy seeing the children having fun and listening to their laughter. People are so creative with their costumes. What enthusiasm!I love Halloween. We went out with some of the grandchildren and had a wonderful evening despite the drizzly weather. It’s a good way for people to meet their neighbors. We were trick-or-treating in a very conservative county and it showed.

People really go all out decorating and making sure the children have fun. Some even turned their garages into mini haunted houses. Bonfires, fog machines, spooky music and adults in costumes handing out candy and calling “Happy Halloween”. It was a blast! My life would be pretty depressing without the family to enjoy these times with and forget for awhile all of the misery of our political situation. I am so thankful.

It’s a good opportunity to teach the children respect for other’s property, not to be greedy and to say “thank you” when someone is kind to you.
