A Russian airliner has crashed in central Sinai killing all 224 people on board, Egyptian officials have said.
The Airbus A-321 had just left the Red Sea resort of Sharm el-Sheikh, bound for the Russian city of St Petersburg.
Wreckage was found in the Hasana area and bodies removed, along with the plane's "black box". An official described a "tragic scene" with bodies of victims still strapped to seats.
Egypt's prime minister said no "irregular" activities were to blame.
Sinai has an active militant network, and on Saturday afternoon, jihadis allied to the so-called Islamic State made a claim on social media that they brought down flight KGL9268.
But Russian Transport Minister Maksim Sokolov told Interfax news agency that "such reports cannot be considered true". No evidence had been seen that indicated the plane was targeted, he said.

Not the same crash/plane.
Since I don’t speak or read Russian that’s a meaningless link.
That plane has totally different markings than the plane shown on the ground in other news reports.
And I’m not sure how you transport large fire engines and crews to the middle of the desert...
I don’t know. You are just showing bit’s and pieces that could be some distance from the main crash. The website flight numbers line up is all I know.
If the photo at post #1 is part of the plane, this photo ain’t.
Unless it had two tails...
Well if Putin hasn’t wiped all of the ISIS, he will now!!!

Something is amiss:
1. The empennage on the supposed Russian plane separated forward of the aft door, is upright, and is unburned and relatively intact. (However, it possibly separated in flight and fell from altitude, because it shows no signs of skidding laterally along the ground).
2. The empennage is still on the A/C you pictured.
3. The A/C you show obviously hit the ground inverted -- and the (still attached) empennage burned.
4. The A/C you show obviously crashed near an airport. (One doesn't drive crash trucks like that hundreds of miles across the Sinai desert... And that is not desert terrain. )
5. The first responders in your photo are all uniformed -- and the a/c has RED markings.

Why did you post that photo on this thread?
Obama’s fault.
It also appears to say “Fed ex” on the side.
This picture appears on the same page of the Russian (I assume from the text which I can’t read) newspaper that the photo of the burnt plane surrounded by red fire trucks appears.
The burnt plane photo is large and part of the main article. The other pic is in a side-bar article to the right of the main article.
Wish I could read Russian, but the date of the newspaper is 10/31/15, so it may be pics of the same wreckage.
Btw, used the link in post #22 to find both pics.
The photo in post #15 is the same photo that is in the article which post #22 links to, and which has ( in a side-bar article) the photo you referred to.
That must be a different crash.
This one happened in the Sinai and debris/wreckage is scattered across a 3 mile area.
Horrible for them. Hell for those that love them.
I got a translation. Sorry if I did anything wrong about this.
Why did you post it?
Bad way to go.
Might finally be enough to drive Euro’s away from those cheap Red Sea resorts so they close down but I doubt it.
That’s the Fedex plane that crashed in Japan in 2011.

Keep reading. I don’t see where I made an intentional error.
WE must discover the truth about this—Russia will spair no effort in finding out what happened here. If it was ISIS, they will unleash H*ll on them. Egypt will not stand in their way over this.
