The evangelicals tend to eventually find some fault with every candidate and tend to ultimately sit elections out. I'm sure Carson will eventually say or do something that will lose his evangelical support. I've really lost respect for them as a voting bloc.
Trump has way more cross appeal and should GOTV for the Republicans in a way we have not seen since Reagan was the nominee.

Me too. Had they voted in ‘12, Obama would not have gotten four more years to destroy this great nation. And, the purists here on FR are not a damn bit better.
