“I can vote for Rubio easily.”

The first thing that Rubio would do in office is get with House Speaker Ryan and ‘finally’ get Comprehensive Immigration Reform through - thereby quickly ending our two-party system. Rubio already proved with the 2013 Amnesty push that the last people he’s willing to listen to are conservatives concerned about this country.

Hard to see how a conservative can support him, but maybe I’m missing something?

Like 2012, the more Conservative guys, Trump, Carson and Cruz, will divide the Conservative votes and Rubio waltzes to the nomination. Deja' vu all over again.

Maybe not.

The GOPe is in crisis mode right now. Their one guy they have been planning on is coming up short and useless.

They may push Rubio, but there are three other contenders who show no sign of being knocked off by moderator gotcha's.

This election is going to be way different than any we have seen since Reagan.

Yeah. I notice Singer is both pro-Israel and pro-gay!

He's happy to support using his millions to destroy the civilizations he professes to care about!

Whata guy!! No wonder he loved Mitt!

Rubio is going to need more than the support of a billionaire to catch Trump and Carson. 10 per cent in the polls is a deep hole to climb out of when Trump and Carson both are consistently in the mid 20s.

Still think a large share of Carson's support is actually going to end up with Trump. The two of them already control over 50% of the vote. Don't see any of that voting bloc deciding to go with an establishment candidate like Marco Rubio.

On the bright side, even the GOPe appear to see the handwriting on the wall with regard to Tippy Toes. Alas, it is probably too late to foist another lightweight RINO upon us. The GOPe decision to stick with Jebbie this far may well prove to be a fatal error. Trump and Carson are just too far ahead at this point.

“Cruz will throw his delegates to Trump, if needed.”

I’m big on Cruz, but I’m not sure I can see him doing that. Despite his silence thus far about Trump, I don’t see him being comfortable with Trump as the nominee. Trumps myriad of past “un-republican” positions make it very chancy to support him.

We don’t have to “like” any of the GOP candidates, but anyone of them would be better than Hillary. We cannot stay home and have a repeat of 2012.

I hear you...but the choice between Rubio and Trump is a no-brainer for any conservative.

For example, if Trump were to get elected and then decide we need a mass Amnesty, it would be very easy for Republicans to oppose him in Congress, as he flat-out lied to get elected. If Rubio got elected, he could rightly claim that people supported him, in part because of Amnesty, and will likely be able to push it through.

In this campaign season, Rubio has, at best, been wishy-washy on Amnesty, where Trump has been rock-solid.

Cruz, Carson or Trump. One of those three, preferably Cruz, or I shall not vote for the Republican candidate.

How will you tell your grand kids that you helped put Hillary Clinton in the White House and she finished destroying America?

“Still think a large share of Carson’s support is actually going to end up with Trump”

I seriously doubt that, and I doubt Trump goes any higher in the polls from here. Carson’s biggest bunch of supporters now are the solid evangelicals, and I think the shine is off Trump’s apple for them. When you have to shout, “I’m Presbyterian” five times, trying to convince people not to abandon you for Carson, it puts the lie to any claim of knowing or understanding anything about Christianity.

I don’t see a repeat of 2012, as we actually have 2 strong conservatives running, versus 0 back then.

You don’t think that Newt Gingrich was a strong Conservative? Santorum?

Not sure Rubio is that man to go up against Hitlery.

Cruz, Rubio and Trump (in that order) would be the best in a Debate with the witch. Carson would be eaten alive by Hildebeast.

The evangelicals tend to eventually find some fault with every candidate and tend to ultimately sit elections out. I'm sure Carson will eventually say or do something that will lose his evangelical support. I've really lost respect for them as a voting bloc.

Trump has way more cross appeal and should GOTV for the Republicans in a way we have not seen since Reagan was the nominee.

So you want Rubio who will sign any and all amnesty bills and who flat out lied about the HIB bills - bill he is supporting contains none of the protections he claimed during debate
And because Cruz is will to call out the Cartel but has not beaten the entire Uniparty cartel and media complex you would never vote for Cruz?
Sorry, I thought most conservatives did not want amnesty.
Voted and donated to Rubio. Never again. If he is the nominee I will do my own write in. He is bought and paid for like no other candidate save Yeb.

I agree, If we’re gonna hold Rubio responsible for his past actions, we have to do the same to my man Trump the former Democrat who donated to Bill and Hillary in the past, was Pro-Choice and had no problem with gay marriage.

RUBIO LIED TO US FROM HIS HEART FROM THE VERY BEGINNING (Lake City, FL 6/5/10). How can you believe anything he says?
Amen. He won’t fool me again.

I had a real RNC person call me for donation a while back. Nice man. I asked if he knew Cornyn, then asked him to pass on a message... They do not contact me anymore.

Me too. Had they voted in ‘12, Obama would not have gotten four more years to destroy this great nation. And, the purists here on FR are not a damn bit better.

“Cruz, Rubio and Trump (in that order) would be the best in a Debate with the witch.”

Cruz just looks you right in the eyes, makes an argument or asks a penetrating question, and doesn’t budge until you respond to his argument or accusation. Then, if you try to spin out of it, he demands an answer. Not sure if Trump or Rubio can pull it off.
