I am suspicious of the lack of charred parts. This would indicate; a) ran out of fuel or had no fuel, or b) aircraft broke up violently in air.

Looks like this aircraft might have had serious INTERNAL structural cracks. Aircraft was 'repaired' years ago due to a tail hit upon landing but INTERNAL cracks were still present and led to a break-up.

IMO, aircraft FIRST lost its tail, including its tail wings and rudder. It's game over at that point.
