Ben Fields' seven years as a school resource officer are over. But the fallout from his tossing a student across a classroom may be far from over.
The FBI is looking into whether the former South Carolina sheriff's deputy committed a crime. And the FBI and U.S. attorney's office are looking into whether the student's civil rights were violated.
Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott said he fired Fields because the deputy threw the student at Spring Valley High School.
"The fact that he picked the student up and he threw the student across the room -- that is not a proper technique, and should not be used in law enforcement," Lott said.

Kids have been running the schools for decades, to some degree-—it is just more prevalent now, especially the blacks showing their true colors (not a pun)-—since the RATS have been in power, blacks are making the most of it , financially-—I served almost 12 years on a school board over 40 years ago and it was starting then-—commie lovers running the teachers union and no doubt egging things along—my days are nearly over at 93+ so I will probably miss most of the fun coming up—I often wonder if my time in WW2 was really worth it along with 400,000 good men dying for this America-—cheers
You made a funny.
Thank you for what was the most well reasoned post on this topic.
Interesting.
There are no liberals left in America, only leftists. They cannot be educated, and are very expensive to incarcerate. I am for cages that are abandoned in remote places. The cages are just a short term expedient.

My youngest daughter sassed a teacher much like this little bitch that the officer threw down.
The difference for her was that I backed the teacher to the hilt, and she had to apologize to the teacher in class in order to be allowed to return.
Teaching kids to sass is a guaranteed losing proposition.
The officer should be commended.

I think he did what needed to be done.

I wondered what she would have done if he backed off a little, pulled his tazer and asked her “do you know what is getting to happen to you?”

The officer did an excellent job. It was over quickly without injury.

That's my read on it, too. As I mentioned on the other thread, I think we need steroid tests as SOP for police departments to avoid these situations.
But if we simply cage them and throw them in the woods, we lose a need revenue stream from PPV to help pay to repair all the damage they have done. Then there’s the scared straight/deterrent aspect of leaving them to rot in public.
I figure if people see the fate of all liberals in America and it leaves a lasting impression, they won’t be in a rush to get back to it in a couple hundred years.
Use them as they used us. Start with the Republican liberals, then their voter accomplices as those two stood by and or enabled the Dem liberals, then once we rid ourselves of the internal enemy, we can get to work on the Dems without fear of the ongoing sabotage we see daily now.
How are gorillas in the wild captured? How was King Kong captured alive in the movie? The police should study capture techniques using nets. We don't want to hurt the little thugs.
TO: FREEPERS DEFENDING THE COP ^ This is the kid of person you are standing with.
I thought the officer was quite decisive and efficient. Although it may be something we don’t take pleasure in viewing, it’s likely in keeping with most everything with which an officer must contend.
Since when is viewing the overpowering and arrest of a combative perp supposed to be entertainment? Life is tough - and it’s a lot tougher when you’re a rebellious, combative, defiant thugess.
ECT? ETAFT?
“The fact that he picked the student up and he threw the student across the room — that is not a proper technique...”
I agree, he could have thrown his back out and seriously injured himself. He should have used larger muscle groups and proper leverage. A “suplex” maneuver would have been much safer.
God Bless you for your service, in all its forms!
“All he had to do was cuff her.”
Cuffing an uncooperative suspect usually isn’t such a simple matter though...

Nobody got thrown across the room.
