How about going cross-country on Acela, stopping in the various cities along the way, for a series of real debates.

Errrr...Acela runs from Boston to Washington. There is no overhead wire in the rest of the country.

You must mean Amtrak. And, if the candidates counted on Amtrak to carry them across the country, they'd risk running up to 24 hours behind schedule. And being insulted when they asked why.
