Fly a drone over your neighbor’s house, it’s the same as criminal trespass.

How much air space do you own? If a plane flies over your yard is it also a criminal trespass? Can you shoot down ultralights, hospital helicopters, jet liners, hot air balloons, satellites, Cessna's, weather balloons, blimps, airships, your neighbors pet parakeet that got out? I think that your property rights have altitude limits and I Think that drone owners also have property rights. To not respect either is unjust.

The commenters here all seem to have convicted the pilot of being a peeping tom, there are many legitimate uses for drones and drone photography. Since I cannot legally shot your cat that comes on my property, and I can photograph your property from the street or from my own property is seems that the reaction here is knee-jerk to say the least.

I see where you’re going, but I don’t buy it. If the neighbor flies a drone over my house with the express purpose of photographing my kids, I’ll shoot it down.

That’s most certainly NOT the same as an airliner flying over at 35,000 feet. Or an errant helicopter or hot air balloon.

If your cat wanders onto my property holding a camera, starts calling out, “Cheese!” and taking snapshots, I’ll chase it away.

This is simple common sense.
