CNBC Disaster Debate: Full Republican Debate Grades
The Daily Wire ^ | 10/28/2015 | Ben Shapiro

Posted on 10/29/2015 4:24:33 AM PDT by grimalkin

In what had to rank as the worst presidential debate in modern history, CNBC anchors berated, cut off, and skewed the words of Republican candidates over the course of two hours on Wednesday night. In spite of - and in the case of Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz, and Chris Christie, among others, because of - that horrifically biased moderation, Republicans emerged looking better for wear. They needed to show they had elbows, and many of them did.

Without further ado, here are the debate grades.

Trump is the reason candidates found their when it comes to pushing
back...flinging back the BS thrown at them by Liberal media dirtbags.

S-o-o-o-o true---Donald gives the others the spine to pushback when
attacked. He's a good role model for Repubs (all except Bushbot Jebito).

Yes I gave Huck best supporting for basically calling the Clintons murderers. I notice none of the networks will touch it with a ten foot pole this morning. :-)

Trump only gets a B rather than an A because he was caught red-handed in a lie about his position on H1B visas. It became clear that Trump has not even read his immigration plan – or that if he did, he didn’t know it well enough for a debate.

We will see how much "the media hate Trump" with how much time they devote to this slip of the skirt. Trump is the "Republican" Barack Obama in that he lies his a$$ of with abandon, telling people what he thinks they want to hear at the moment. So if the media don't jump on this, we'll know for certain that the fix is in. Bubba put him up to this to keep conservatives from getting any oxygen or developing momentum, doing the Fred Thompson fan dance of this election cycle so to speak.

Excellent Summaries.

Your last one is the reality beyond the debates and election new from the liberal mediots.

Trump will still win. He is the antidote to American politics. People who haven’t voted since Reagan left office will come out to vote for him - and I actually think it might be enough this time to overcome growing Democrat vote fraud in battleground states. I don’t think the MSM or the DNC or the GOPe have any idea how large the groundswell of (white) public opinion opposed to them is.

I disagree with him on that, but the Zuckerman(?) comment was about displacing American workers FALSELY with H1Bs.

No, it was a lie on Trump's part, because he also said he'd never been critical of Zuckerberg. The criticism about Zuckface was on his web page.

Good analysis. You are right about Priebus. He is a man child in an adult’s world and should be removed ASAP before he can do more damage.

After all the screaming on this site about how Trump is going to fix immigration and over 100 posts on this thread, only ONE takes on Shapiro’s charge about how he misrepresented what he has said about Zuckerberg and H1B visas, never mind the open door he’s said he’s going to put in the fence. You Dupes for Donald are so craven it’s literally incredible.

Nice wrap MJ....

"Trump is the antidote to American politics. Donald should look at the cunning Clintons strategy under a microscope. No truer word was said than ex-Arkansas Gov Huckabee: "I survived the Clintons, and the Clinton machine, and I'm still alive."

MEMO TO DONALD: At a recent insider meeting, Bill Clinton was hustling superdelegates to get on the Hillary bandwagon.

Clinton said: "she is the best candidate for these times, mentioning her work on (1) early childhood education, (2) health care, and, (3) her position on family leave."

IMHO, that's about as close as we'll get at a look see into the inner workings of a "Clinton strategy."

Christie's cutting remark to the smarmy John Howard was one for the books: when Howard interrupted...Christie shot back: "Do you want me to answer.... or are you going to?"

Even better, when he followed up with, "Even in New Jersey what you're doing is rude"

“I think the bias argument is much ado about nothing. I mean, it was good that they pointed it out, but the deck is stacked each and every time they do a debate. What is most important is how they rise above it and reach over the head of the media.”

And that’s what I’m coming away with.

Too many people trying to posture and position their candidate based on some line that they boast “destroyed the media” or whatever.

Nothing these guys said did jack to the media. Because these cable networks are not the top of the food chain. They are not engine of the leftist machine. They aren’t even influential. They are the “dumb output” box.

They may have put these CNBC nobodies in their place, but the real leftist media hasnt been touched.

The real test isnt going to be the best one-liner hit at some debate, but how they will be able to withstand the sustained barrage from multiple directions that will be coming.

These people dont sleep, and they are royally p*ssed today.

So she’s big on the touchy-feely stuff but on security, defense, the economy, and the invasion of diverse ethnicities she’s no good.

Did you ever see the day that family leave would be an issue for the federal government???????????????????????

I’d actually seen the quote a number of times. He was criticizing Rubio in the quote. Not Zuckerberg. Like he says, he believes that big business people use the ‘laws of the land’. Some he doesn’t agree with, and he wants to change them...like hedge fund taxation. But he sees them as the rules of the game, and you use those to stay within the stripes.

Rubio’s ideas, btw, about the advertising 180 days and no pay reductions for new hires with H1B’s are approaching satisfactory to me provided they are honest efforts. They must be BROADLY advertised, and they must be based on the actual wages within that field for that firm over the past 4 or 5 years, and those must be the wages paid to the WORKER and not the worker + referral company/agency. Finally, no H1B’s should be offered in the STEM field if the STEM field has 5% or higher unemployment.

Hillary’s big on touchy-feely stuff....but forget about her strategy on US ntl security, defense, the economy, and the invasion of enemy ethnics..... hollowing out the US govt from within.

THIS JUST IN: The DNC brain-chips its candidates...they can only say things that make them "feel good about themselves."
