I was surprised because up to this point Trump has put American interests first on immigration issues.
Having really top people around is almost always productive, so, the effect on wages might not be negative.
ALSO, Trumps paper mentions wages for H-1B’s (and by implication, related Visas.) If H-1B holders and such must be paid prevailing wages (to U.S. citizens) or even more, as in Japan, any “problem” auto-corrects. Win-win.
Trump needs to loudly tie these ideas together!!!!!
