Basically, google's full of crap. Apparently, they have two issues with FR. One is that a user (a long-time user not a hacker) posted a link to an image that (unknown to him) resides on a site google has registered in their database as a malware site. We've pulled the post and notified google. Have no idea when they'll stop flagging us.
The other is that we have links to aim.org. NSS! Aim (Accuracy in Media) is a well known conservative site. Have no idea how many, but I'm sure we've had hundreds or even thousands of links posted to aim.org. We're not going to pull them.
Why google is apparently randomly flagging unrelated threads on FR I have no idea. Your guess is good as mine.
But it's not just google Chrome. Any browser that relies on google's database is doing this.
If you want to stop these erroneous and obnoxious warning messages immediately, you can set a browser option to ignore such warnings. Your virus protection software will catch any real viruses.
Thank you all very much for notifying me. I've received dozens and dozens of these already. Sorry, cannot answer each one individually.
M4L virus black list
It's all them bloggers
Some thought it was the image in that fossilized lion cub article that was all over the Internet.
I wouldn’t doubt it. Powerful entities like google have the ability to kill free speech by simply blacklisting sites like FR.
Too many people defending God, country, liberty here. We openly discuss Life, Liberty, marriage, patriotism, constitution, God, guns, etc, on this site. This marks us as dangerous extremists to the big government progressive socialist/fascist democrats.
Betcha a dollar it is.
Just as long as you don’t include the midget
Safari—for us Mac users is not showing any sign of problems most of the time. When it has shown up, I reboot and it’s fine for a few days before it shows up again.
Google is a big Obama supporting enterprise.
I got the blue screen of death while on FR yesterday, but I think it was a mail issue. I rebooted, went right back to FR, have’t had a problem since. At first, I thought I forgot to make my monthly donation, but that’s automatic.
This Will Fix The Problem For People Using The Mozilla FireFox Browser and Variants Such As WaterFox, CyberFox, PaleMoon, SeaMonkey, Etc, Etc.
Go To Tools/ Options/ Security
Take The "check" out of the box labled 'Block Reported Attack Sites'.
Once this is done you should not get the "nag message" again.
That is IF You are getting the same message as the one below:
There Is NO Malware actually involved here.
Using This Method Will Not Hurt Your Machine.
This is what I think the “hate speech/hate group” agenda being pushed by the Southern Poverty Law Center and similar groups is all about. (And now being embraced by the “Justice” Department.) Make a master list of groups you don’t like, classify them as “hate groups,” and then try to shut down dissent through having their websites and communications blocked by Google, McAfee etc.
My church has already been through this. We were classified by the local atheist/homosexual rights crowd (generally they are the same people, or there is a large amount of overlap/coordination) as a hate group. The proof? One of our associate pastors, thirty years before, had been a youth pastor at Jim Kennedy’s Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church (which at the time was classified as a “homophobic hate group” by the SPLC). The second charge: Our senior pastor a number of years before had attended a luncheon where the speaker was one of the people that allegedly supported the passage of anti-homosexual “death” legislation in Uganda (I think this has largely been shown to be bunk, but it keeps getting repeated over and over again). The irony is that both the Mayor and the Lieutenant Governor were at the same lunch. (They also ended up being classified as “haters.”)
So that’s the strategy. Get your enemies classified as “haters,” and then the private sector/government can shut you down, not as a violation of free speech but in order to prevent “violence.”
The fact is that our pastors are scrupulously neutral when it comes to politics, so although we may have our views as followers of Jesus, we do not get involved in politics.
The ultimate irony is that we were once also picketed by the Westboro Baptist Church for being “pro-gay.”
“Among the goals of this policy were to bring about adherence to a specific doctrine
and way of thinking and to control as many aspects of life as possible.”
That sure has a familiar ring to it.
Test Post
well sure... if you do it that way ... :P
As I understand it, the problem is some google database cache of sites. Sites that use that DB will give you the warning.
I assume Mickeysoft does NOT use it, and so far I have not seen it all day using IE. (still seeing it in crhome)

Wasn’t it Google that reported the search activity of Chinese users searching forbidden topics (like Freedom) to the regime?
I posted from mobile phone using two different browsers, and now I’m posting from a lap top using a third browser, Pale Moon. I don’t expect any issues with this browser either. If I have issues, I’ll post, but otherwise, no issues.
