My guess is that someone "reported" freerepublic.com, and it wasn't properly reviewed.

The warning I’m getting has no url associated with it that I can report. All that shows is the url from FR. It’s just a box with a warning about malware and names Free Republic.
The url is the FR site where I last clicked.
It looks like this is a way to block HuffPo or DU...
I mean, we all believe they have malware, right?
