Trump has just as much experience as Carson.
Having gotten where we are by politicians who know how to run a government, I’d say Joe and his ilk have no right to judge anyone’s fitness for taking a shot at fixing the mess that the “professionals” have made for us!

His point is that Ben Carson is totally unprepared to be the President of the United States. Which is true.
Other than his books, not much. That wasn’t my point either. But since you asked, his popularity … and Trump’s … stem from voters being sick and tired of the status quo. The “experienced” politicians haven’t done much for us - the people - like they’re supposed to be doing. Trump and Carson are benefiting from the backlash … as is Sanders on the Dem side of the campaign trail.
I don’t think anyone really knows how to be president until he’s tried it for a few years. It can’t be easy for anyone.

\Not saying that I want that. What I am getting at, is that the media do not apply the same criteria to Obama as they do to Republicans.
The media will never be even handed, but we need to be realistic regardless.
The President runs the government by unilaterally issuing Executive Orders, which everybody obeys. Simple. /sarc

True, the media didn’t apply the same criteria to Obama. But we can’t go back. We must look forward and vote for someone to get us out of this mess.
Carson's in the mix because he actually stood up to Obama, looked him in the eye, and called him out for what he was, at a time when few, save Sarah Palin, had the courage to do so.
He's not my ideal candidate but I would vote for him if it came down to it because, unlike Obama, he is an honest, God-fearing man who loves his country and hates what has happened to it.
