When we lived in Cali Mr. Megan would sometimes use a bamboo katana as his walking stick. See, it wasn’t an illegal sword cane, it was a perfectly legal cane sword.

I'm not sure how long ago that was or how it would be now, but considering that a small souvenir baseball bat in car is considered a felony while a loaded gun is a misdemeanor(if you're not a felon) in California, I think I just as soon risk the misdemeanor.
