STILLWATER, Okla. â A witness says the woman who crashed her car into a crowd of people at the Oklahoma State University homecoming parade admitted she was trying to kill herself after the crash.
Nathan Oglesby was in Stillwater Saturday with his wife and 2-year-old son when he witnessed the a horrific crash.
As a former EMT, Oglesbyâs training kicked in and he rushed to Chambersâ vehicle.
âI opened the door and asked her how she was doing, what happened, felt her neck,â he said.
Oglesby says he then asked her what she was doing.
âShe just looked at me and said she was trying to kill herself. I said, âWhat?â And she said, âI was trying to kill myself,â and I asked her why and she said, âto be free,ââ Oglesby said.
