The woman who crashed into a crowd at Oklahoma State University's homecoming parade, killing four people and injuring dozens more, was held on $1 million bond Monday as her father acknowledged that "she might have underlying [mental health] problems."

I heard "suspicion" of DUI, which I figured was code for "let's get her out of here before somebody kills her".

It is really rather annoying to have the cops called out, interrupting my mid-day nap, to my place of residence by my parents, because my parents and siblings all cooked up some stupid idea that i am “suicidal” or “crazy” since i didn’t want to spend my Christmas break at their house. So now i ask who is the crazy one, my parents need to stay the hell out of my affairs.

The mental health industry is corrupt. What you are diagnosed with depends on who your doctor is. That claim means nothing to me. A druggie will appear exactly like a bipolar person. The mom may or may not have had a mental health problem. This young lady has a drug problem, I would guess. In this case it is an educated guess. All of this sounds oh so familiar to me.
Hmmm daddy...... I have no idea.
Agree. The toxicology report should prove very interesting.
I would have to accept your opinion on that one.
I think when the toxicology reports come back, you will find yourself completely mistaken.
For her family’s sake, I hope I am wrong. The experience of my entire life says I am not wrong.
If drugs, they already know if the tox is back. Should at least have a partial blood report.
The problem with diagnosing “mental health” is there is no definite test, blood or otherwise. It is based on a consensus of opinions (where have we heard that term lately?).
And, you are right, the MH industry is corrupt, and politically driven as well.
First, I would suggest you finish reading the posts. There is a lot of info in them.
Second, and to answer your question, she was not targeting anyone. IMHO, she wanted to just randomly kill some people so that society would kill her (capital punishment).
The question is, what would make her want to die ?
Right up there in the top 1% ...
of poorly thought out comments. Not a bit like dog owners. You're not allowed to cage family members like you can dogs, nor are you responsible for someone else's behavior just because they're related.
This really is the key. Self-injury is often misunderstood. It's not just a goth thing or attention-seeking behavior. It's a marker for pain that a person has no other way of coping with or expressing. Of course, it sounds absolutely crazy & foolish to outsiders, but to the person experiencing it, it makes sense.

well it has been a hard time but finally about done with this dui Bull$hit. $4000 down and $1500 to go then i get to pay off 3k in credit card debt. Take it from don’t Drink and Drive or atleast if you do take back roads and if you do get pulled over dont consent to a field sobriety test or blood alcohol content test (BAC. It will be cheaper if you don’t. Lawls.

I would bet the entire debt of the US that meth is not involved in this.
I'm assuming you either did not read the article, or didn't notice that she spent most of the HOMECOMING WEEKEND with the FAMILY.
I bet I know why she didn't sleep. And it ain't drugs.
I think it just makes it a factor in the prosecution of the case.
Are you implying that she is the victim of incest?
The comment about targeting someone was to a specific post. I don’t remember which one so just forget it. I do not think she was targeting anyone. It was following the idea that she would have done this act on purpose.
So I understand, she go out of her vehicle and said “I didn’t see them.”
She had to drive through a red light and around a barricade, hit a motorcycle...before she plowed into the people. But she did not see them?
My sister lives in OK. She told me she heard that the girl was dismissed from work an hour after she arrived because they said she seemed drugged.
Daddy says she's just 'timid'.
Hmmm daddy...... I have no idea.
