Sunday on CNN’s “Reliable Sources,” veteran talk show host Phil Donahue said the crowds Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is attracting are “white, scared,” and “very angry.”

“White” is the worst insult a leftist can imagine.

Yes, I’m white.
Yes, I’m scared - as I watch the most magnificient nation ever to be being destroyed by those who hate it because of its moral values - for with the destruction of our nation goes, as Reagan said, the last chance for freedom.
And yes, I’m angry. Angry at those who are intentionally bringing this destruction on our nation by lying and deceiving the American populace and who are intentionally bringing in nationals from other countries who can then both keep the Dems in power forever and hasten our nation’s downfall.
The threat we face now is FAR greater than in WWII when we were fighting Germany and Japan at the same time.
For in that time, truth was valued. Today, lies rule.

He is correct...70% of us are madder than hell. The white folks not enraged are iconic democrats.
That was my thought when I saw him on CNN yesterday. Not sure he is still relevant, though I like his show when I was very young and naive.

There are plenty of people (especially here in Red England) who think anyone over 70 should take a nap...I’m not one of them.

Phil (who is the epitome of a white person) was so scared about his own safety in lily-white Westport CT a few years back that he bought the estate next to his/Marlo’s and tried to demolish the architecturally significant/historic house on it. Needed the property to increase his security perimeter, apparently.

He is correct on one of the three, they are angry. They are angry because their Country and way of life that they worked so hard to obtain is being destroyed by pandering politicians. They are angry because they were stabbed in the back by politicians that, if elected, promised to do one thing and when elected, did just the opposite.
I find it interesting that whenever a normally placid group gets angry, the left makes sure to call them “scared”, whether it be through a “phobic” label, or use of the simpler word like here. I am not afraid. I am livid.
