This is true. If Trump is the nominee, you will see a ton of donor money that normally goes to Republicans go to Hillary instead. I doubt you’ll see that even amount on both sides that both parties usually have in an election, unless Trump dumps hundreds of millions in himself to balance it out.
Trump is getting a whole lot more bang for the buck than the others, especially Jeb and Hillary, are getting.
And he’s doing it without having to finance thousands of fund-raisers who get a cut of what is raised, and buying off pols at several levels with “Advisory and Consultation fees”.
