She may have been on one the “synthetic cannabis” concoctions, Spice or K2, that are out there. But those are as similar to weed as heroin is similar to a cough drop. They are lab mixed chemicals that supposedly mimic marijuana by stimulating the same brain receptors. But they are not at all the same as “pot”. In fact they’ve been concocted and marketed to fool people into thinking they’re a legal form of marijuana. Very dangerous stuff reportedly inducing heart arrhythmia, extreme hypertension, hallucinations, and at least one reported death by overdose.
Quite a few people in Tulsa recently were sent to the hospital after using some K2 synthetic pot, some near a soup kitchen, I think. It was in the news in Tulsa last week. Maybe the distribution of this batch of drugs was generally being distributed and reached her also?
