Who here at Free Republic has not changed for the better?

I hope no one thinks that’s a bad thing.

Actually, physicians may be just the ticket for what this country needs. Many physicians, especially the older ones in private practice, are small businessmen who know how much work it is to make a payroll, struggle with insurance, fight government red tape, and see firsthand the waste and fraud in Medicare/Medicaid. It’s no coincidence that the majority of physicians in Congress are conservative/libertarian.

Carson is just weird, IMHO.

His laid back demeanor reminds me of someone stewed on pot.

I think a lot of his support is coming from those who want to somehow prove that their distaste for Obama was not because he is black.

The left doesn’t like him, to them he’s an “Uncle Tom”, which nullifies his ability to fix racial division without giving out the freebies.

At this point, we need a Christian, but we don’t need a turn-the-other-cheek pacifist, or a preacher, we need a leader and a fighter. Carson is neither, by background or personality. He got pushed into the race based on comments he made at a prayer breakfast with Obama in attendance. I guess he thought it would be “something to do” during retirement.

If he’s somehow elected, conservatives will regret the day.

Nobody I know has read his books, of course that is a small group of people.

Carson's top adviser, Armstrong Williams, is a Farrakhan supporter.

Carson spoke at Al Sharpton's National Action Network event in April.

I personally see agenda 21 making huge strides in this country. Recently the city council in Seattle voted to eliminate single family homes as a zone.
Wolves, grizzlies, and other apex predators are being overloaded into rural America to eliminate hunting and ranching. Elk are at an all time low population and caribou herds are going extinct.

The puke groups like Sierra club are raking in millions to tie up court cases and sue the federal government. Federally owned land is at an all time high, and our Potus is bringing in thousands of Islamics to tip the population balance in their favor.

In short, the left is quietly taking over the country while we argue here who has more energy, Trump or Carson.

People.

Wake up.

Let’s get someone to replace Obama before we lose what we have left of our culture. If we end up with Hillary we may as well join the mosque on either corner and throw in the towel.

I have read them all. He is an extremely devout Christian.

If he cleans up the mess in Chicago it cannot be a bad thing.

He can help with Detroit too and I won’t mind.

He is however very much a conservative.

I’m not sure what Carson hoped to accomplish by highlighting past violent behavior even if it was in his teens. It’s a great thing that he turned himself around and became a very accomplished surgeon, he is to be commended and provides an example for all troubled teens. But, to me it comes back around to bite someone hoping to be elected President. People will always wonder about his mental state.

Hmm, I wonder how many people in the US have not read Ben Carson’s books...

There are over 300 million people in the United States. How many books has he sold. Of those how many were actually read by anyone.

That being said, if he is going to try to show that he is a high energy candidate by showing how he tried to murder people as a teenager, then he needs therapy.

It seems like a most unusual strategy.

I’m not for this guy anyway. He’s for what I’m against and against what I am for, so I’ll pass.

Dr. Carson and his story are impressive and inspiring.

By current societal logic, he should not be who he is. He should not be who God made him to be.

By society's logic, he should have remained as formed by the broken mold of a fatherless, low income, broken home, thus perpetuating the pattern he and so many others were born into.

But he didn't. He mastered his nature, tempered his spirit with the Holy Spirit, educated his mind so as to develop his talent and he broke free of those chains.

His mother did her best to make sure of it and, to his credit, Dr. Carson let himself be led to the mature man he was destined to be.

I don't know if he has the managerial and leadership skills to be the POTUS, but he certainly has earned the opportunity to make his case to we, the people.

He is not anti-2nd amendment that I can find anywhere with Google.
He said the holocaust would not have happened if the Jews had had guns.

So where did you get this idea?
