Jeb Bush let his agitation show on the campaign trail today when he complained about gridlock and partisanship in South Carolina.
Bush attended a presidential town hall held by Senator Tim Scott, and they were even joined on stage by none other than South Carolina congressman and Benghazi Select Committee chairman Trey Gowdy.
At one point, when he was lamenting the state of partisan politics, Bush said, If this election is about how were going to fight to get nothing done, then I dont want any part of it.
He said he would not want to become president just so the gridlock continuesAnd thats when Bush really got agitated:
Ive got a lot of really cool things I could do other than sit around, being miserable, listening to people demonize me and me feeling compelled to demonize them. That is a joke. Elect Trump if you want that. Watch above, via CNN.
I agree. This wasn't even close to a "meltdown." This was supposed to be Jeb, "enraged?" Hardly. More like a joyful (yet disruptive!) tortoise flailing on its back trying to simulate what he imagines might sound presidential. It was moment calculated by a team of worthless consultants, which combined with Jeb's flaccid personality, failed miserably.
They were going for passionate, presidential and principled and the only P Jeb manages to squeeze out is petulance.
You know Trump is going to put that video clip in an ad if he has to. And all America will see Jeb going up on his toes after a darting glance at Trump.
You are exactly correct. His plan to govern is to act just like GW to compromise and never ever stand on principle if it might hurt the feelings of some liberal. He will ever support conservatives as it is not PC. Bye bye Jeb go do fun things elsewhere.
Bush: I could do other [things rather] than sit around, being miserable, listening to people demonize me and me feeling compelled to demonize them.
Of course, Trump is having a ball.
But you can put a fork in Bush...he's done.
Bush is enraged because the American People are just too stupid to join him in making Reaching Across the Aisle their top priority.
“That government is best that McGoverns least.”—George Will
Amen! Get 'em outta here!
True! At least we know how this one got there.
Ok, just so I have it straight... it's now Joyful Disruptive Post Tortoise on Tippy Toes. Got it.
Jeb doesn’t seem so joyful nowadays. Pretty much a grumpy tortoise lately.
