Right, the hearings did not cover everything nor many important things. I always felt Gowdy would be trapped.

I believe the mythical “stand down” order is a red herring as there has to be a “go” order first in order for someone to countermand that order to stop or delay execution of the original go order. The State Dept and military commanders never authorized a help mission, the White House (Ben Rhodes, ValJar) and State Dept (Mills, Huma, Kennedy) in DC were preventing/blocking that.

Any assistance which did respond to Benghazi was purely volunteers running to the sound of the guns.

You gotta admit there are some serious questions about Gen.Carter Ham who was in charge of North Africa at the time if I'm not mistaken and why he was ordered to stand down once he heard the calls for help from Benghazi.

Even more interesting is how did his #2 man come on the scene within a minute and relieve him of his command so the stand down order could be obeyed.?

Just how well and by whom was this entire raid orchestrated? Who was supposed to be taken out? Why? Are other questions I would have like to have asked.

Also, there were 30 some odd CIA guys smuggling weapons in Benghanzi nearby at the time of the raid where the "expletive deleted" were they when the sh_t started hitting the fan! And who ordered them to stand down as well, reallly pisses me off obviously.

Seems only someone who had control over both the CIA and the military could order standowns at the Benghaiz raid. I wonder who that was.
