I had that conversation with one as he told me he would BUY all my wheat with his gold. I told him I would not sell him any wheat for his gold, and if I would he does not have enough gold.

I am just a dumb old farmer now (retired).
Always told people “you can’t eat gold , silver, or paper”.
Grow all my own vegetables; and the orchard produces all the apples, pears, peaches, etc. I could ever use (give most of it to the food bank).
Raise my own meat livestock and chickens for eggs.
No near neighbors, seven big semi mean dogs and lots of ammo.
I’M GOOD.
