Just this week I found out that Carson’s faith does not approve of military service in anything but non combatant roles. Pacifism is completely incompatible with being an effective Commander in Chief.Be careful what you wish for. Heidi Cruz was/is of the same faith.

Heidi Cruz was raised as an SDA, but she and Ted are now members of a Baptist Church. Last I heard, she was not running for POTUS anyway.
Additionally, Cruz is one of the biggest advocates for the military in Congress.
