As an Oberlin graduate, and unapologetic Conservative--before I even went up there for four years, long ago--I can testify that the Oberlin Leftist--whether student or faculty--has virtually no argument for what they believe--only their air-borne wish lists. They are absolutely pathetic in a debate with anyone who actually understands the context of the issues they pursue--absolutely pathetic.
For example, in my freshman year, I challenged a classmate to a debate on Immigration over the College Radio station. When the Senior head of the group with which he had been working heard of the coming debate; he insisted on coming on to help my classmate out. The fear of the campus Leftists, described in the article, is nothing new.
Incidentally, I can personally recommend the Republican Libertarian group that is sponsoring the "scary" event. I spoke under their auspices a couple of years ago; and they actually believe in academic freedom--as well as the rest of what once was recognized as American Liberty.

The thing is that the people who work for us; our employees, won't tell us where they are sending the scourge.
Just like the invasion from the Southern border.
And that also must stop.
Ditto thinning the herd. Rooskies are doing a fine job of it at the moment.

There’s a fine line between “someone has an opposing viewpoint, I feel threatened” to “opposing viewpoints are an existential threat, kill the infidel”.

Carr said that OCRL should have included some sort of disclaimer on the event in order to warn victims of sexual assault that Sommers talk could include something triggering.

However, many female students at the Ohio school have taken over the comments section of the event page to express their disappointment in the groups choice of Sommers as an event speaker. Several students claim they feel unsafe by her presence on campus.Yep, I still feel sorry for any poor sod who marries one of them.
