Hillary Clinton’s performance at the Select Committee on Benghazi hearing yesterday has been proclaimed by some in the media as a “triumph” because she was able to keep her composure without committing any major gaffes during the day-long marathon.
Clinton did appear to be composed and well prepared for everything the Republicans on the panel threw at her, but there were a couple of extremely weird moments in which she laughed inappropriately during serious questioning. Those moments could come back to haunt her.

The end is very near for you and you really should try to do something about those stitch lines in your cheeks. With all the money you’ve stolen from us you’d think you could have afforded a better plastic surgeon.
Agree 100% Somehow, this once great country has been allowed to become a communist dictatorship. AND WE THE PEOPLE ARE TO BLAME. We have become so comfortable with our way of life that we pay no mind to elections, betrayals, crimes, etc. committed IN OUR NAME. We keep believing the same lies and electing the same people as our “representatives”, when then proceed to stab us in the back.
There are three alternatives, as I see it, left:
1. Do nothing and proudly wear our chains. Our children will curse us unto the seventh generation. The blood, sweat and tears of those who went before us will have been in vain.
2. RESIST the tyranny. They pass a law; disobey it. They make a new regulation; ignore it. There will be a price to pay; but isn’t that better than wearing chains.
3. Open the last box.
Being nice is a major factor in why we lose. The democrats on the other hand are nasty, unapologetic and will continually steamroll their opponents with a smile

When she cackles, I’m waiting for those stitch lines to pull apart & there’s a lizard underneath.
If the NYT and CNN says she triumphed then that is what the population accepts and repeats, even if the people don’t actually believe it. .
Nothing can “haunt” a person without a soul.

Had Hillary been anyone else the Jim Jordan “outing” of her ridiculous “Blame it on the Video Big Lie” would have sunk her politically and doomed her candidacy.
But, but, but did you see how composed she was during the questioning? Yes, a well practiced liar plying her trade.

They winged her a few times but she received no major direct hits that would take her down.
Sure, they proved that she lied and prevaricated but everyone already knew she was a liar.
Sadly, it was the committee republicans who needed the big win but didn't get it.
Hillary didn't need to win - she just needed to survive fairly intact.
And she did that.
I doubt that the Republicans would do such a thing, but a devastating campaign spot could be put together about Hillary, carefully using vignettes from this hearing, intermingled with the parents who loudly accuse Hillary of lying to them over their son’s casket about the video causing their deaths. Add to that, a revelation of where Obama was at the time of the event, if the Republicans ever get around to asking that question themselves. They seem to ask each other that question, but they won’t ask Obama that question.
