If he doesn’t move away from this position it will sink him. I’d guess that half of his support is on either social security, medicare, or both.
Carson needs to sink....remember when Paul Ryan said that as Romney's V.P. that didn't go well at all and there are other things about Carson I don't like:

He was also a liberal, just like Reagan and Trump, but doesn't want anyone to know about it...

Not wanting to go into Iraq and Afghanistan but it's ok to take on ISIS...
He is a pacifist...
Wants Farrakhan in charge of Public Policy in Chicago...
Thinks it's immoral to deport illegal immigrants, and wants them to have amnesty...
Says he has a lot in common with Al Sharpton...
Didn't do abortions, but knew doctors that he sent people to have them done...
These are just a few of the things I don't like about him...
