No evidence has been produced that Russia had anything to do with shooting down MH 17. At the time, the US intelligence community admitted it had no “direct evidence” of Russian involvement, including presence of Russian military personnel at the launch or evidence of Russia training others on the system. http://www.businessinsider.com/us-intelligence-russia-not-directly-involved-mh17-carsh-2014-7 The most they would say would say that Russia somehow “created the conditions” that led to the disaster and said it was probably shot down “by mistake.”

The Russia MOD, in an international press conference, declared that he US had a satellite right over the site of the shoot-down at the time and challenged the US to produce its satellite intelligence. The US, to my knowledge, has never denied the Russian allegation and has never produced intelligence from the satellite.

On the other hand, there is no dispute that the US Navy shot down Iran Air 655 in 1988 killing all 274 people on board. Are you going to post pictures of victims from that tragedy and blame President Reagan? I thought not.

Yes, Russia has lied about its involvement. But, they gave rockets to their drunken allies so that their drunken buddies could shoot down planes. And, that's what they did. And, that's why those children are dead. And, then they looted the crash site. That was another nice touch.

Putin may be your hero, but he's not mine.
