My guess is....the Democrats wanted to end the hearing and wanted it voted on. Another mindless waste of time, if that was what they were voting on.
Dems wanted ALL of Blumenthal transcript released, not just his emails. Gowdy said emails were part of Clintons emails & thus could/should be released. He does not release transcripts. They took a vote ... releasing transcript failed.
