Netanyahu was right, and it is good to see that he is not backing down. He called the criticism of his remarks absurd, which it is: hes now a Holocaust denier because he noted the Mufti of Jerusalems role in the Holocaust? Prof. Moshe Zimmermann teaches at Hebrew University, but clearly he cant think straight.
Netanyahu also said: Hitler was responsible for the Final Solution to exterminate six million Jews; he made the decision. It is equally absurd to ignore the role played by the mufti, Haj Amin al -Husseini, a war criminal, for encouraging and urging Hitler.
Exactly. Here at Atlas I have been calling attention to this for years. SS Hauptsturmfuehrer Dieter Wisliceny, a close collaborator of Adolf Eichmann, testified that the grand mufti, who had been in Berlin since 1938, played a role in the decision of the German government to exterminate the European Jews the importance of which must not be disregarded. He had repeatedly suggested to the various authorities with whom he had been in contact, above all before Hitler, Ribbentrop and Himmler, the extermination of European jury. He considers this as a comfortable solution of the Palestine problem. In his messages broadcast from Berlin, he surpassed us in anti-Jewish attacks. He was one of Eichmanns best friends and has constantly been cited him to accelerate the extermination measures. I heard say that, accompanied by Eichmann, he has visited incognito the gas chamber it Auschwitz. The statement referred to in the affidavit was made by Eichmann in his office in Budapest on June 4, 1944; the confirmation by Wisliceny was given some days later also in Budapest.
Further, according to testimony at the Nurenberg trials, [T]he mufti was a bitter arch enemy of the Jews and had always been the protagonist of the idea of their annihilation. This idea the mufti had always advanced in his conversations with Eichmann.
Here is a letter from the Mufti to Ribbentrop, urging that Jews not be deported to Palestine just as Netanyahu said:
Netanyahu Draws Broad Criticism After Saying a Palestinian Inspired Holocaust, by Jodi Rudoren, New York Times, October 21, 2015:
JERUSALEM Israeli historians and opposition politicians on Wednesday joined Palestinians in denouncing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel for saying it was a Palestinian, the grand mufti of Jerusalem, who gave Hitler the idea of annihilating European Jews during World War II.

Mr. Netanyahu said in a speech to the Zionist Congress on Tuesday night that Hitler didnt want to exterminate the Jews at the time, he wanted to expel the Jews. The prime minister said that the mufti, Haj Amin al-Husseini, had protested to Hitler that theyll all come here, referring to Palestine.
So what should I do with them? Mr. Netanyahu quoted Hitler as asking Mr. Husseini. He said, Burn them.
Prof. Meir Litvak, a historian at Tel Aviv University, called the speech a lie and a disgrace. Prof. Moshe Zimmermann, a specialist of German history at Hebrew University, said, With this, Netanyahu joins a long line of people that we would call Holocaust deniers.
Isaac Herzog, leader of the opposition in the Israeli Parliament, said the accusation was a dangerous historical distortion, and he demanded that Mr. Netanyahu correct it immediately.
Even Moshe Yaalon, the defense minister and a senior member of Mr. Netanyahus Likud Party, said in a radio interview that history is actually very, very clear.
Hitler initiated it, he said. Haj Amin al-Husseini joined him.

Bibi is no fool.
He knows he will ‘be attacked’ ... always by the same sources.... any time he says or does ANYTHING to defend his poeple and their little land.
It is very simple... just as the IslamoNazis and their Useful Idiots keep saying..... they want to kill the Jooos.
Nothing more complicated than that. Nothing new in that, either.
I rather think that Bibi is smart enough not to give a rat’s ass danm* what the enemy says.
Not only did the grand mufti encourage it but Hitler also had an entire division of muslim soldiers ( The 13th Waffen Mountain Division )
Yes islam was involved heavily
Truth is truth. Go Bibi!
He is no fool and this may turn out to be a deft political move. What are people going to do? Argue over who wanted to kill fewer Jews? Ultimately there is nothing to be gained by “denouncing” Bibi or trying to “reform” the image of Mufti - a cause which could not stand any serious scrutiny.
So the question is why is this an issue today? PM Netanyahu is probably trying to underscore a larger point and play some politics. German people (and many other Europeans) will love any opportunity to shift some blame for the Holocaust to foreign a infiltrator who, it so happens, shares the ethnicity of millions trying to migrate there as we speak and causing great social turmoil. And as the political/international pressure was ratcheting up on Israel over this wave of Arab terror maybe he succeeded in reminding people that the source of this conflict continues to lay at the feet of Arab leaders.
No one knows history that’s why.
Isn’t it true that the extermination of Jews was well under way before Hitler met with this turd in 1941?
The Wannsee Conference, which was the kickoff of the Extermination Phase, was in January of 1942.
Interesting SS insignias.
It looks like there were SS Golfing and Hockey Divisions ((2nd row, third and sixth from the left). And what's with the third row, fourth from the left? The dreaded Dandelion Brigade?
eh, at least they were snappy dressers (and looked fabulous)...
Interesting to see that once Islam-o-Nazis actually used to bathe.
Just saw a documentary on the Hitler Channel called “ Nazi Jihad” - it tells the whole story. Bibi’s right.
In the second picture the one in the white hat is an Arab (that’s the mufti)
Top picture those muslims are from the balkans .
Shameful part is it their descendants that Clinton helped during the war in Bosnia .https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foreign_policy_of_the_Bill_Clinton_administration#The_Balkans
We would have bombed them back to the stone age except they were already there.
I'm not so sure of Hitler's reluctance to exterminate the Jews, and if he was, it probably had more to due with the damage that would be done to the German war machine because of the massive diversion of scarce resources that was needed to keep the death camps running.
The primary reason Hitler pushed forward with the Holocaust despite the resource drain it would require was the proposed use of Jewish prisoners has slave labor to offset the economic costs
They can’t handle the truth

Not only that, but Otto Skorzeny, Hitler’s go to guy for special operations, was instrumental in establishing, training and operational planning for jihadist terrorist networks in Egypt, the Sinai, and Iraq in the 1950s. The Nazis and jihadists are kindred spirits when it comes to jew hating.
