If you build a clock which only fits into a briefcase...the question would be why, and once you answer that....things are fine. The kid could have built a clock in a Pepsi-can, or into a doormat, or onto a dog-house, or affixed to a peanut butter jar. But no....it’s in a briefcase. The kid got manipulated by his sister or his dad....doesn’t matter...he’ll wake up in ten years and realize that his religion is part of a manipulative scheme.

He didn’t “build” squat. He disassembled a working clock and partially re-assembled it into a briefcase. The whole thing was a stunt desired to get exactly the outcome it got.

But he didn’t even “build” a clock.

He TOOK a working digital alarm clock apart, then put all of the parts (except a detonator) into a pencil case.
