I have a serious question for the Trump supporters, and I hope they will be able to answer it, at least to themselves. It is a question that every supporter of every candidate should be able to answer if they consider themselves a thinking voter instead of a mindless, drooling sports fan. The question is this:
What, hypothetically, would Trump have to do or say to cause you to stop supporting him?
SNIP
............Its supposed to matter what candidates think, do, and say. There should be a point with literally every candidate where something they have done would push us over the edge to the point that we wouldnt support them anymore.

One---in July he told "Morning Joe" that he's a Democrat on "some" things. That in itself should be enough to take him out of the running for every conservative, considering how much we rightfully complain about RINOs.
I'm supposed to disdain liberal/moderate Republicans, yet support a man who admits he's at least partially a Democrat at heart? Never happening.
Two---Terry McAuliffe, one of the lowest bottom-feeding, scumsucking, filthy, corrupt liberals of all time currently sits in my governor's mansion. Donald Trump contributed $25,000 to help put him there. Only a liberal Democrat would have done that.
Dude.
I just ate a late breakfast. Now I’m having trouble keeping it down.
Nobody wants to see that.
Well, I feel soooo much better now that you have told me what I believe! Gosh, I never even knew!! Arrogant much????
I thought the question was for people that support Trump.
It’s about preening their feathers... all they do is tell others what they should do and why...pfffttt...
Yeah, the question was, but I chimed in with my opinion. Public forums sort of work that way.
She can’t help herself. Never lets a chance to get snitty go by.
Refute the sourced quotes or admit you’ve been duped.
Yes. Yes they do.
Eh. It’s a free country and FreeRepublic. It does muddy the waters when someone pukes talking points all over the place, though.
I answered the question as asked. Just doing my part for civil discourse. lol
That right there is enough to prove Trump can’t be trusted.
“Refute the sourced quotes or admit youve been duped.”
Wow. That is a lot of bluster you got going there, Carry. Are you an admin of some sort around here?
Trump said the one word that captured me forever - WALL.
+1!
I support H1-B visas, American citizens giving up their IT jobs to an East Indian and training them in order to get your package, and any other 1-B program that is related to immigration.
Cruz is down with all of this. Unless and until he gets his mind right on this, he will remain sub 10 percent.
In the end, people are going to vote for who they want to vote for. People don’t change candidates on a daily basis.
The more they attack Trump, the more they drive people to support him.
Oh well. LOL
As it stands now, Trump in the high 50’s, 40+ states.
Just my hunch.
Are you taking lessons from Alinsky? The standard on FR, for almost two decades, has to present arguments supported by sourced facts. I did that. Now it's your turn. Please provide sourced quotes from Donald Trump on how he is going to deport 30 million US residents without violating the Constitutional rights of citizens of the United States and how many he intends to allow right back in.
American conservatives are putting ethnic identity ahead of principals.
Not that it isn't fun to watch the establishment squirm, of course.
