Carson because we NEED Cruz as AG,

Nope, Trey Gowdy as AG.......

Trump - P

Cruz - VP

West - Sec. of Def.

Gowdy - Atty. Gen.

Me - Sec. of State

That’s fine. And I guess Gowdy could be AG. But ultimately I want Cruz on the USSC. Levin, too.

No way Nikki Haley. I recall her gloating over trashing a Confederate battle flag. Even though the South lost and suffered greatly, she still wants to stick it to them.

Her support of illegal aliens and her idiotic rant blaming the flag for the murders makes her unacceptable. She was also one of the first to jump on the anti-Trump bandwagon.

Then there are the scandals - and there is some basis to them that the MSM can spin. No doubt will resurface if she is chosen.

What is possibility of Cruz as VP then resigning to be USSC later. How would that work?

Cruz can be VP, Pres. and then Supreme Court.

If he wins we need someone who knows the players yet was not one of them.

Slap them around enough and they would be happy to accept Mark or Ted as Suprimes. Someone said that if you know the enemy they are yours.

IIW, I’d phrase that slightly differently. :)

Perfectly constitutional, although I can’t ever think of anyone who did it.

I would not go with any of these people.
Geographic diversity in VP selection is not very important anymore like it once was.

Now for me my choice would be my sitting Senator, Tom Cotton, then only one who voted against the Corker Bill and had the guts to stand up to all of them early on.

Marco Rubio and Nikki Haley should not be even under consideration. They are sleazy, dishonest, and anti-America. There are potential scandals in their background, true or not, that would emerge as major distractions.

I would like Cruz. I don't know Blackburn's position on amnesty. Since Trump has not held a political office, his VP would be best served by a Senator, Rep., or Governor.

Here is the real pro/con on Cruz.

Con: He'd be wasted in the largely ceremonial VP slot. He'd be more effective in a Cabinet position like DoJ.

Pro: He's more likely to get into the administration as VP, because it's unlikely that McConnell's Senate would confirm him to any nominated office, as McConnell personally hates him more than any Democrat.

THANK you! None of these pols from the inside have the breadth of street fighting cred of Trump.

He will likely bring in brains from the outside, who have no enemies on the inside and the VP may be from the military side or the foreign policy side, but hope to goodness it’s not one more crass politician who will be beholden to these nasty donors who are buying our politicians.

There you go. Jeff would be one and ONLY insider who would be really beneficial to a Trump presidency. He’s been around.

This would be a more consequential choice than most campaigns. If voters are going to elect the first non-politician in recent history, they may want someone with Trump who knows the score, politically, someone who’s been elected.

I don’t think Carson works because of that. Cruz is very polarizing too, and I don’t see how he helps bring in independents and dems. West is a fighter, he thinks well on his feet.He LOVES America. Maybe Blackburn, she’s solid and also articulate.

I’d like to see Rudy as AG. Levin and Cruz on Supreme Court. Sessions in charge of Dept of Deportation.
