The White House on Tuesday vowed to veto a bill designed to prevent sanctuary city deaths like the July killing of Kathryn Steinle in San Francisco, saying the solution is to legalize illegal immigrants, not to force cities and counties to cooperate in deporting them.
In a state of policy, the Office of Management and Budget said if Congress wont pass a bill legalizing illegal immigrants, it should butt out and let President Obama carry out his own policies, which include narrowing the number of illegal immigrants he deems worthy of deporting.
And he said trying to force local police to cooperate with his own federal authorities would create a rift between immigrants and police.

Imagine how fast he would act if these were tax sanctuary cities, where tax laws are ignored.
Good for him!
Then there’s the disaster of LEGAL immigration — Somalis in Lewiston.
I believe that’s precisely how the turkey thinks, if he thinks at all.
Louisiana has just acquired a new sanctuary city. Jindal hasn’t said a word in protest. He doesn’t really care, since it is not about him.
....and the enemedia will back this @#&*$%^^ 100%.
They got to protect their future, if not present, voters.
These power hungry control freak statists belong in prison.

Amazing...and Jindel is running for Pres?
He just doesn’t understand this election is about immigration first, and other things in a row....
I wished they would put them all in Washington D.C. so the spineless sissies would have to trip over them!!!
Pass it anyway and make him veto it. Then he owns it, along with refusal to enforce and abide by US law.
Absolutely...And every bill he says he'll veto.
Cities belong to states. States belong to the citizens of said states. What the Hell does the President(if we had one) have to say about ANYTHING in the states? Break it down, people. If the citizens say “No more SC” and it’s rep.’s ignore them, get them out. If the Feds resist, move on to them and fire them.
Gosh. Suddenly he’s all for state’s rights.
