I heard a pretty good report on that from an expert.
The line was “jet fuel doesn’t burn hot enough to melt steel”. The rest of the story is: Maybe not, but aluminum does, and a jetliner is made with tons of aluminum.
Throw that into the fire.
Not only that, but you get aluminum and iron oxide (rust), and you make thermite. Now, do you think there might have been some rust on the girders and beams in those buildings?
You also don’t have to actually MELT steel for a building to collapse, just soften it and weaken the structure.
I can’t believe that some people actually believe that something else caused the towers to collapse, when were all watching it on TV.
Interesting comment, I have thrown aluminum soft drink cans into a campfire and watched them melt but they did not burn. How hot a fire does it take to make it burn?
