I was watching the TV the morning of the attack and remember when the second plane hit, the reporter (I think it was Fox News) said something like, "There goes another one. Now there is no doubt, its terrorism...maybe Osama bin Laden".
Yep....in a way we ALL knew something was coming but with no actionable intelligence. If Bush tried to implement beforehand what he did afterward (Homeland Security, TSA, NSA etc.) he would have been impeached as a fear mongering, paranoiac dictator.
It was going to happen to someone, it just happened to be Bush.
I hope that is what Trump is saying.
I think it’s a fair question. What did Bush do BEFORE 9/11 to stop what apparently “we all knew” was coming?
